Default LS6 cam ?

if i were to install a ls6 cam into a 2002 z28 do i have to change the valvesprings or pushrods

u hafta change the springs, the LS6 cam has ~.550 lift vs ~.480 of the stocker...

The pushrods can stay stock, the valvesprings need to be changed. I'll be installing LS6 cam and springs probably in the next week or so. Should be interesting to see what it does on a bone stock car with just a lid.

Are you aware that you won't gain any power at all over the stock cam until about ~4k rpm? If I were you, I would go with something larger since you're going to go through with it anyway...there are many grinds that will have great drivability and make much more power. Just my opinion.

You need to read JimX's post. This cam must be problem free and cheap. i.e no lopey idle and no empty wallet.
