Default LS1 vs LS2 valvetrain question

I am wondering if I swapped shortblocks and reused lifters, pushrods, cam, heads from an LS1 into an LS2 will there be any changes in geometery such as pushrod length?

From my research the cam should work with the proper timing chain setup and external harness extended to the front. I'm wondering about overall geometry of the valvetrain pushrod length/lifter preload etc.

Yes the can will work. As long as you use the same heads cam and pushrods I don't know why it would change.

All you would need is the LS2 Timing Gear, I don't see why anything else would be different.

Timing chains are completely interchangeable.

LS6/2 use 243 heads. Same rockers, longer pushrods to account for cam base circle.

Stay low and cool, Merv. Don't ask how I know.

I would upgrade to the LS2 Chain since he is there and has it apart that far already.
