I would go with the heads and a speced cam intead of the kit. You will make much better power and it will not cost anymore if you get a good shop to do it. Also, you will need to upgrade the intake. If you don't put a fast 92 on it, the intake will hold you back. I put the trickflow heads and VRX3 cam on my CTSV with the fast intake and I had to upgrade the injectors from the 28's. The 28 lb injectors held me back around 20 HP.

I went with those heads milled to 59cc. Yella Terra Ultra Light rockers. Upgraded springs. Torquer 2 cam 112lsa. Melling high pressure oil pump. Fast 90/90 ported.
LS7 lifters and LS2 lifter trays. LS2 timing chain. And I think that's about it. Oh and a powerbond underdrive pulley. I should be getting it back today. Will post numbers when I get them.

Formula... I agree with everyone else as well. The TFS 215's, especially when worked over are nnnnasty heads. The cam isnt bad, but theres definatly 20 or so horses to be picked up by a bigger one. I would choose a different cam.

What are the specs on your cam and what valvesprings are you running. I would think valve float should be a non-issue at only 6600rpm with a properly setup valvetrain and a quality spring.

I went with a similiar package developed by Ron at Vengance Racing. My cam is much larger 247/251 .623/.623 113+3, but this is a drag only car. Short block will be back next week and should have dyno numbers shortly after the first of the year.

The kit comes with harland sharp 1.7 rollers , so he should be covered with that. Also , just to let him know , i also went with a wallbro fuel pump as well. Im not sure if the stocker can handle that much.
