Has anyone had this problem with a stock LS motor? Was it particuler to a certain year or series of an LS motor?Did GM ever use a retaining plate to solve this problem?
Thanks

I have seen it reported a few times. The most recent was an FI motor that had a pinned crank and he had a few issues getting the pulley to line back up due to the end drilling.

I was also confused.....now I see that Chevyz06 has a negative 1 trader rating which resulted from a sale dispute with the OP (396375).
