Just got my first ls1. Im wanting to put a decent cam in it and im not sure what i need.looking for some help. Car is going to be a daily driver ant the strip every great once and a while. I want something agressive sounding. But still ok to drive to work 30-40 miles a day. Any input would be great.

Patrick G custom cam is the only thing you'll be happy with. He tailors it to your exact setup or future setup and makes the cam fit your needs and car, not the other way around... and Virginia Speed gave me a Killer deal on my Hooker Super Comp ceramic coated LT's.

You could go with duration in the upper 220's on a 115 or 116lsa if you have an auto. 114 on a manual. I like to keep the lsa's wide because I don't like killing the bottom end power on an otherwise stock drive line. It won't sound like much though if it's tuned properly. Noticeable chop starts in the 230's with lsa's around 112. On the exhaust, our shop tries to use mainly Kooks stuff. They make a great durable product that makes some power. If you decide on Kooks, we buy direct. Just PM me and I will have someone give you a price.
