Maybe they suck harder.
Remember when looking at flow numbers that they are measured at a given pressure. Take the pressure higher than that and you increase the flow.

Jay@Absolute hand ports the heads to work with the LS6 intake making it an even more efficient porting.
Is he the one your referring to? He's the only one who has posted numbers that high @28"s through the intake.

I just don't get it. I herd jay uses a corection factor. My heads flow 300 at .575 and pull 260 through the manifold. At .500 they flow 286 and pull 259 through the manifold.

Right, I think he sculpts the port in a unique way to adapt specifically to the flow patterns of the ls6 manifold. I posted the thread link in your other thread, but here ya go:
