Default 400 RWHP

I would like to have 390-425 rear wheel horse power on a 1998 firebird A4.

What I read on these boards somewhat confuses me.I am looking for the cheapest natural aspired setup.I see some people say just bolt-ons with headers maybe a cam.Than I see others spend big cash on heads, cam, intake, and headers and only get 420 rwhp so what gives this makes no sense.

so what do you think is the cheapest combo to get about 400rwhp.(please be specific with name of cams and heads I am new at this.)

Only mods so far are lid, magnaflow

I would like true duals off stock headers next. Could just a cam or cam and ZO6 intake get me there. If not tell some combos that will.

with an a4 go with: absolute heads and at least a 224 cam and all the bolt ons, and LT's are a must. you aint gonna get 400rwhp from the stock manifolds.

also "cheap" and 400rwhp is an oxymoron, rememeber that. you want power, and that kinda power, you gotta pay.

So harsh but so true.

$=Speed, or Speed=$. That is the extent of my expertise in algebra.
