What is max lift for ls6 springs?

What is max lift for ls6 springs? I picked up some L92 heads and was looking into getting some valvesprings for them. I always thought ls6 springs were good up to .550 lift. But I stumbled on a site that sells them and they say up to a .580 lift. The cam I will be using is a .573 lift. Which is it, .550 or .580? Thanks fellas.

I believe the older ones were .550, and the newer ones (cause there was a revision in '02 I believe) are rated at around .570-.580
Either way, you're right at the limit so I wouldn't push it. Just get some 918's.

Lingenfelter uses them on their cams in the .570-.580 range street cams. GM says they will go 100K miles. I've had my LS6 springs on since 2003 and they are still good.

the intake valves on L92 are too heavy for that spring and high rate cam. Better get a stiffer spring.
FYI, you do not only look at lift capability of the spring and say this will handle X or Y cam. You have to look at spring pressures and install height.

Great guys. The heads are currently bare. I bought them bare so I can put the parts I want in them. I was thinking about getting some Ls3 valves. I hear they are suppose to be lighter and will go right in these heads. I also heard there was some faulty 918's sent out. Like there was a bad batch so to speak.
