For a while now, I have been wondering if a person could put the Corvette LS1 oil pan (has the wings that hold more oil) on an LS1 for an F-body. That would give more oil capacity and thus prevent the pickup tube from getting uncovered.

Will it fit? (probubly not since I came up with it)

I would think the bottom end where it directly bolts to the block would work, BUT.., the design of the f-body would conflict with the shape of the oil pan!, so I would put my money on NO
