Can't decide on my next cam! PLEASE HELP! My choices are: TSP 228R, VRX4, VRX3, or a Patrick G custom cam. I am using some PRC 2.5 5.3L heads (unmilled w/ 2.02/1.575 valves), and a ported FAST 90mm intake w/ all other bolt on's. I want to run the best cam I can fit without having to flycut w/ the use of GM MLS gaskets. Please help!!

by the way. i was going to go with an MS3 but the heads weren't setup for that cam. i bought them used. and the person who had them before me ran a 228R cam.

Id consider the custom grind. Im sure there are quite a few people with your setup, so dyno numbers and track times are definately out there!!!
FWIW, Im doing a custom grind with the same heads & HG's as you, but Im milling them and flycutting too.

well i don't really have enough time to wait for a custom grind, i need my car running in the next couple of days. which off the shelf cam would perform better? Torquer v.2 ?
