well, there's WOT for 4 seconds between 2000 and 5000 rpm and sustained 5500-6700 drag, street, or road racing.

I'd wait 100 or so before 2000-5000, and then another 400 before winding it up totally.

Also remember not to sit on the highway at a constant speed for a long time for the first 500 miles too. Shift into 5th, then speed up then 6th then slow down a little, etc. Vary it up a bit without driving your fellow highway drivers nuts.

Ive been taking really nice backcountry drives from 1500-4000 rpm with my Camaro's new 387. Really a pleasant thing to do and it does wear the engine in nicely going up and down in RPM from 0-50 mph.

well im getting the 6.0L block, carillo 6.125 forged connecting rods, diamond racing forged aluminum pistons, diamond racing pro-select piston rings, ls6 intake, pacesetter lt's, and y loud mouth with no cats, 30# injectors, TEA stage 1.5 or patriot stage 3 heads, cam haven't decided, but something radical

i asked texas speed and they said with the poly plasma rings and all the parts will be brand new and performance oriented, they said i would be over doing it if i went 100 miles before dyno tuning. the thing is that in dyno tuning they are going to romp all over the car and i don't want to break anything because it hasn't seated right
