Noise from the valvetrain is normal with almost any aftermarket cam.

Pushrod is measure using the base circle of the cam and preload measurements. Thats kind of hard to tell you since you have zero knowledge about the cam in the car, nor has the base circle ever been measure.

Dyno the car. If there's no dips in the higher RPM's your valvetrain is probably fine. If it makes you feel any better, pull the valve covers off, loosen all the rockers, put #1 at TDC, and re torque them all via GM sequence.

Have fun

^^Is there a sequence? I always just put them on at 22ft/lbs no matter where the Engine was at, then rotated it and checked them all again.

I'm using stock Rockers, and my Cam is a .621/.612 Lift.

Yes there is a sequence. TQ'ing them straight down the line tends to put preload all over the place.

Do a search. The GM TQ sequence is all over the internet. I am too lazy to type it all out lol

I'm sure it can be done with the Cylinders at TDC, and just rotating it in the Firing Order.

From what I gather, the only major concern in using stock rockers is more valve guide wear than if a smaller cam was used.

Idk for sure though, Im gonna try it out lol.
