you are going to have to go pretty big to see a difference in what u have now...i would guess the trex will only give a max of 10-15rwhp over what u have now and u will need to spin it to at least 7K rpms...

that can trex is make to be a track cam, what i mean by that is it is designed to run only from 5k-7k that is where it really shines...so it give up the drive ability in the lower rpms...now any cam can be street driven but i got a feeling you are going to regret the switch after you do it...

there is so much more gained from the rest of the setup over just switching the cam...what i mean is you can add a ram air like a sux2bu or one like i got and add 25rwhp...that is more than any cam swap is going to give you....

look at my cam pretty similiar to yours, you can get high 10s out of it, and i dont have a fast 90/90...

if you are dead set on getting another cam that is a max effort track cam, also look into the g5x4...again these are not very street friendly...and wont add that much more power...

If this is strictly a street car, then traction is your enemy. Sometimes in a street application, it helps to knock a little bottom end out of the car to allow it to hook up better. I'd recommend going bigger on the intake and quite a bit bigger on the exhaust. An earlier EVO will help a lot on the nitrous, it will knock some bottom out of the motor and allow it to carry the rpm further past your power peak. The resultant LSA could very well be wider than your current cam. Just depends on your desired shift rpm and rev limiter.

wouldn't there be more power to be gained from improving the heads?

although that may be more money than you wanted to spend.
