Default 2002 Vortec Truck motor in a Grand National

I am looking to put a 2002 Vortec motor in a 1985 Grand national. I have a complete drop out motor (meaning I have everything out of the truck except for the Fuse box). If need be I can get the fuse box. I want to know is there a data base for what the plugs on the motor go to? Or is it better to get the harness modified to fit my car?
