Shootin sparks due to bad tps
I have an 01 SS Camaro pretty much stock (factory slp exhaust).
Ive been having trouble with my throttle positioning sensor i think,
because after having the pedal completely down and shifting through
a few gears the throttle just keeps going and ive made sure my foot was
of the accelerator haha. It will rev the motor all the way and wont stop so
i shut the car off right away and coasted to a stop. This is the third time this has happened but this time it blew sparks and smoke after. i pulled over and started the car and it ran fine. but im in need of a little help to see if its something major. id appreciate any information thanks.

If you have EGR, check and make sure its sealing where it dumps into the intake just behind the throttlebody. If its an LS6, my guess is vacuum leak or as Joshiedoom said check if the throttle sticking open.
