you need more gear for that cam. unless you just want something to chop its azz off, you wont gain much

the F15 aint really that spactacular either.

Why waste the $$ on another cam swap when you're still on stock heads and intake?

Neither!!!

Just read some interesting information that showed except for above 5,700 RPM, the VRX3 kicked *** over the VRX6. Any you want to go with something bigger?

what is the end goal? Track times or a fun car to drive? If you're wanting track times go with a solid roller and forget those two cams.

Ever tried either of those cams with a stock gear or did you just read this on a forum thread somewhere and make an assumption?

i went from a 224 to a t-rex and gained nothing, maybe it was in my tuning? idk , IMO id rather go with a smaller cam or have a custom one rather than a huge *** off the shelf cam thats curve is nowhere in the neighborhood of what your wanting to do with your motor.

I guess a little of both.

I would suggest the Futral F14 over the F15. It is a better cam in my opinion, and also has better driveability.

I agree and disagree with Sigforty. I would also suggest the F14 over the F15 but I think driveability is likely the same (all depends on the tune). You would probably make more peak power with the VRX but more under the curve with a Futral cam.

Check out some dyno graphs of the big Futral cams. They are nothing like most big cams. They make excellent low end torque.

With your car already having a 231/237 you probably have more to gain by going with a Futral cam since you'll pickup low end. Otherwise I dont know that you would even notice a difference with the VRX.

i had an FMS 235/237 599/602 on a 112. stock 6.0 with all the boltons through a catback ran 7.0 1/8 mile at 3360 pounds. same setup with stock valve patriots went 6.90 at 99.35 1/8 mile at 3400 pounds.
cam didnt chop hard. drove well with my big converter. never sounded fast.
ive heard 224 cams that chopped harder.
its exactly what i wanted and it performed, IMO.
