Oil Pump Identification Upon cam installation in a long block I purchased, I was shocked to see a new oil pump #12586665(ls6) but on the back it has a handwriten number .99 in a blue paint marker. Wasn't sure if this was typical of manufacturers process or if this pump has been ported or shimmed?
