Default vindicator cam, and clearance....

as from my understandings, the vindicator would be a fantastic choice for the daily driver in a ls1, and i also understand that you can run the prc stage 1 heads without n e problems, but someone told me that the cam was so big that there wasnt enuff clearence to be safe, he said that if the car was at a high rev and you went to shift from second to 3rd and ur rpms hadent dropped and u just so happened to miss the gear and get back on ur rpms, that ur subject to espacially bend a rod.... but im just not very famialiar with this big of a cam so if u could give me some info, so i could go ahead with the install or consider something else... thanks

this cam will fit fine with the prc stage 1 ls6 heads as long as you dont get the heads fly cut at all. ls6 heads have more room then stock heads

YEP check PTV because of any slight differences. from block to block. Also at the same time get it degreed.

Yes it will fit with those heads if not milled. (flycut is for pistons) and no LS6 do not have more room than LS1 heads.

That cam is 240/244 IIRC so yes any cam over 230* it is always wise to degree ity and check PTVC>
