the ls6 oil pump from TSP is cheaper , i gain a good 15% more pressure with mine.

If you're not gonna spin it real high, stock lifters should suffice, but if you want to swap, use hardened pushrods and some Comp R lifters. Keep that valvetrain light!! Some Ti retainers may be worthwhile in that endeavor, too.

SDPC has the R lifters and ported pump at a good price. I believe they have the Hi Tech rods too. You'll be surpried how much your oil pressure will jump up the first time you turn the key. If your pockets are deep enough throw in some high lift spings and a set of fully rollerized higher ratio rockers. Of course there's no need to do that unless you install a BIG cam at the same time. What the heck, Christmas is right around the corner so go ahead and treat yourself. It's only money.

I would not do stock lifters (will be swapping mine out this winter)....after 25K miles of hard use, the stock lifters are starting to fail (don't always pump up fully, get collapsed on high RPM runs, etc...)....

go comp Rs now and don't worry about it later
