Default Picked out my Combo what do you guys think?

I would like around the 450 range but I know 410-430 is more where this will get me please correct me if I am wrong.

What I have now:
Hooker LT's
duals
Volant cold air intake
tuned to 327hp & 339tq

What I plan on getting
Precision Race Components LS6 64cc Stage 2.5 Cylinder Heads
Fully CNC Ported & Assembled With Stainless Steel 2.02" Intake Valves, 1.57" Exhaust Valves, & PRC Dual Valve Spring Kit with Titanium Retainers, Rated to .660" Lift. Kit Also Includes TSP Hardened Pushrods & Your Choice Of Camshaft!!

Texas Speed Magic Stick 4 or maybe 3 this is my DD either on 112LSA
Magic Stick V.4 239/242 .649"/.609"
Magic Stick V.3 237/242 .603"/.609"

LS6 intake

Rollmaster Double-Roller Adjustable Timing Set

TSP Ported LS6 Oil Pump

Texas Speed & Performance Chromemoly Pushrods 7.400

I am on a budget and this is what I think is the best set up for my goals. Please let me know if this combo will work without having to mod anything else. Comments welcome.
Thanks

Everyone correct me if I am wrong but...you said you are building this on a budget. If you are looking at real world having 430whp then you could probably save alot of time and $ by just doing a cam only swap say a tr224 or one similair tune it. You will be looking at 380whp. I have no idea if you are against N20 but if you aren't then why not scrap the heads but do the intake and other things and put a 100 shot on it you will definitely make at or more than 430whp. At close to half the price.

My car is a 02 LS1 it has Lt's, no cats, intake, and 100 shot, all tuned. N/A it made 359whp forgot the torque. On the juice it made 446whp. I have 3000k in my car parts labor and all and just the heads in your setup is 2000k so this might help if spray isn't your cup of tea...to each his own.

I ment heads and cam on a budget. There are a ton of heads that cost more. I would like to do heads and cam then maybe later play with N2O. I just would like to know if someone has a similar set up and if the numbers I think I will get are ok.

I don't know about an MS4 cam for a DD bro. I would strongly suggest you spend your money on better heads (AFR 205's or TFS 215's) mill to get the compression you want and rethink the cam you want. LG Motorsports has a very nice Torque monster of a cam that would let you DD your car and still make great power. Look at the g5x1 cam. Also theres the Executive cam. Both will be a lot more gentle on your valvesprings. The .649 intake lift is going to beat the hell out of you intake side valve spring on a dual spring setup. Another thing to consider is a custom spec'd cam. If you want a dd cam you might want to consider staying in the .580 range and 224-228 duration. JMO so you can take it or leave it.

PAT G or PREDATOR Z could definately hook you up.

I would have a dyno tune done. How big injectors would I need? Would 36lbers work?

What are you going to use for rockers? May want to do an ATI or Powerbond Underdrive pulley and lifters/trays as well!

stock rockers are fine

and the MS3 plus those heads should make darn close to 450rwhp with a good tune.

SVO 30# injectors will be fine, they are 36# at the ls1 fuel pressure.

although you don't mention it....i assume you have an m6. an auto will be hard pressed to make your goal with that setup.

and remember you'll need a new clutch if you don't have one already. stock won't hold that power long.

while the UDP would be a logical upgrade, since you'll have the pulley off anyway. its alot of money for a small gain.

But it is darn good insurance since the pulley will be off anyways! Also, if going to use the stock rockers I would have them rebuilt by Harland Sharp!

I have a M6 and the LS7 clutch setup so I should be good for a little while. UDP maybe.

So I am leaning toward the MS3 with 112LSA would this be ok for a DD

I think I will use the stock ones for a little while until I can save for the Yella Terra's. I guess I will just have to hope that the stock ones will last for about 6 to 8 months.

I drive mine to work every day its not raining with no problems. If you have the 28.5# injectors like my 98 came with you'll be ok. I am still on stock injectors. Some years had smaller sizes. Your stock rockers are fine. You will need new head bolts and new pully bolt + the gaskets. You might want to start saving some money for some serious tires. I recomend M/T's.

My dad has the same setup, I wouldn’t run it in a DD though…I would look into a smaller cam you will only be giving up a few hp…

dude listen to these guys! YOU DO NOT NEED A BIG CAM TO MAKE BIG POWER! and you certainly don't want to DD a MS4. I made 48xrwhp 43xrwtq with AFR heads FAST 92/92 and a 228 230 58x 58x on a 114! choose the setup that best fits your needs!
