Default 806 heads ??'s

I found a deal on a set of 806 heads and I know they will bring my compression down but I'm going to have them milled to bring compression back up. My ?'s are will milling cause a problem with the intake sealing and do you think swaping out my 241 for the 806 will give me about the same performance as my stock 241's.

Thanks

806 are the older heads found on 97-98 ls1s. the 241s are worth more unless the 806s are ported.

make sure you either weld the gaps on the 806 heads or use the gaskets for the 97-00 models. you also will need the perimeter type valve covers.

Thanks for the info.

Does anyone know where I can get the specs on the heads. I know the specs for my 241 heads. I dont want to buy these heads and not gain or just stay the same with performance.
