Cam or Stall Converter
Well I would like to know what would be best for my next mod eithor a cam or stall converter. I can't afford both at the time and I would like to know which one would be the best for my application. My current setup is in my sig.
I want my car to continue to be streetable - it's my daily driver and I never race it at the strip, but i'll take any mod that will boost my hp.
From what i've been researching a tr224 114LSA & 3200 stall would be best for my car???

Best cam/stall combo depends on what you want out of the car. The 224 is a great all around street cam. The stall won't give you any more HP but it will make the car alot more fun to drive and is (imo) required before installing a cam 224 or larger. I would do the stall now, just research your cam choice now so you can go ahead and get a stall that will work well with it later once you have the funds for a cam.

Also it would be ok to just go for a small cam and still get a HP gain after a tune without the new heads, stall converter, or gears right??? Or is all or any of those 3 mods absolutely necessary when changing the cam.

Stall for sure. Definitly gonna feel it more than a cam. Go with a Vig if you can afford it. I had a Fuddle and it took a **** on me. Spent the money and got the Vig, no problems since.

Stall first most defiantly. I have a vig 3500 and it made my car feel like a totally different car. Not to loose on the street almost feels stock when you get used to it. I put in pacesetter LT's and the vig at the same time and knocked 8 tenths off my 1/4 ET I do believe the most gain was from the converter. Should be more than 8 tenths due to traction problems that I never had befor
