Default Help me pick a Cam please?

Ok, so my ride is ready for some more power. I want to do a cam, heads and intake, but don't want anything obnoxious... She is a daily driver. But, here is the thing, I want this to be bullet proof. I heard there is a GM hotcam package with ported heads or something. What do you all think? Thanks.

Opinions will vary on the Hotcam (and most other cams out there) but FWIW, I have seen the Hotcam make proven power over stock. You're more than likely not going to go and spin 400 RWHP with one in most cases, but it is a decent cam with moderate lift (read easier on springs) and satisfactory duration. If you want to build the "baddest mother" out there, this is not the cam for you but if reliabilty is a factor I think you'd like it. A friend of mine dynoed over 370 RWHP and 355 RWT through LT's and stock heads.
