When Lifters should be replaced?

I will be purchasing heads in the near future. My car has 85000 miles now. Is there a part number which lifters should I get GM or what thanks. Dont want to spend a fortune.

if you dont want to spend alot, id go LS7 lifters, i think that they are standard replacemnt parts now too. TSP has them

You may as well do them for the $100 it will cost you to buy the LS7 lifters while you are in there.

I think it's 12499225. They went up in price a little so I think they are in the $120 neighborhood now but still a good idea.

I got them for 114 from gmpartsdirect.com... you will have to wait about a week for them to come in as they are special order. all together with shipping the total cost was 139 to my door.
