Thumbs down Stripped oil pump/pick up tube hole...need advise

Well as the title says I partially stripped the oil pump/pick up tube bolt hole...I can still thread the bolt and tighten it finger tight but anything after that it loosens back up. I honestly dont want to buy another ported ls6 oil pump...
GM's suggested specs are 106 in-lb...which is basically where its at, im just a little nervous.

Here is how it looks currently

What are my options? (Other than ultimately buying another oil pump)

I have already messaged BRPHotRods to ask about this product

Thanks

Pull the pump off the motor and take it to a clean area. Install a heli-coil in the pump housing which will require drilling and tapping. Tape up all the openings in the pump so no chips get in.

You can't leave it like it is, there will be a lot of vibration in the motor that could work the bolt loose. Last thing you need is that pipe to drop off at 6K RPM.

This should go with out saying, but just in case, make sure the drill is positioned straight, use a drill press, or have someone with experience installing helicoils do it.

Just tap it slightly larger, helicoils are fine but they do take some skill and finesse.
