Default good head cam combo

well i'm now in the market for a heads and cam combo for my ta. i have no idea what brand is best or what kind to get or anything like that. i've been looking at texas speed and what they offer. i think i like the MS3 cam. which heads compliment this cam the best? would a set of LS6 heads be just as good as any because i might can get a set for kinda cheap? is PRC a good company? basically what im asking is what you guys are running and making good numbers with. i'm planning on staying N/A with no N2O and mainly driving on the street. i would like to make around 450HP or so.. thanks in advance!

Trickflow 515hp head / cam combo $3200
tsp prc 5.3l 2.5 with your choice of cam combo $1800

i'm building a stock ls1 with the tsp prc 5.3l stage 2.5 heads with gm's asa cam. Should BE just over 400rwhp through an a4 with full bolt-ons.
Ls6 intake, kook's 1 7/8 lt and ory, 3200 vig, 3.73 gear, ect...

My goal is the same...450RWHP/400RWTQ minimum. I'm going with AFR 205's milled to 62cc chambers and a custom spec cam from Patrick G (231/235). It's hard to beat the AFR's or TFS heads.

I would go with the Tony Mamo "recepit cam" and AFR 205's milled.

oh haha i forgot to mention that! probably around 3 grand.. this is for heads cam intake and headers. its not a concrete budget but i dont want to spend so terribly much. i know i know you cant buy cheap parts and expect great things but i want to do the best i can with what i have.

Used milled AFR 205's $1900
Custom Cam $ 400
LS6 intake $ 300
Pushrods $ 110
Gaskets $ 80
Pacesetter LT's $375
ORY $125
TOTAL = $3285
Only thing left to do after that is get some tuning. Oh and you'll definitely make 450 RWHP+ especially if you want to go more aggressive on the cam.

Just saw some either here in the for sale forum or on corvette forum for 1900. I just bought unmilled ones used for $1800 which included ARP head bolts.
