ls1 swap i just bought an ls1 to swap into my 4.3 silverado. it is just a longblock(water pump, intake, fuel rails, injectors, internals). what would i need to get this up and running? also, would my 4l60e hook up to this and hold or will i need a new tranny? also, it did not have an oil pan. would i be fine with a stock ls1 oil pan, or would i need something else to fit my truck?

Good luck with the swap, I would recomend the conversions forum for the info you need. Your also going to need a lot more parts, would have been better off with a complete engine including accessories and harness. The little stuff is going to nickle and dime you to death.
