Pushrod length for LS1 to LS6 cam swap???
I'll be doing a cam swap on my 99 vette. Replacing my stock LS1 cam with a 02+ LS6 cam. I need some recommendations on the pushrods length, cause I don't know how long they need to for this application.

If you change to the 02+ ZO6 cam.
From a stocker and change nothing else (meaning no decking of heads, or altering anything else that affects v-train geometry).
You are going from a 19.7mm base circle on the stock cam to a base circle of 19.0mm with the '02 ZO6 cam.
So in theory you will be 0.7mm out of whack there. Which is 0.027" (0.7 divide by 25.4).
The closest push-rod in that case would be the 7.425" I believe.

All the info I've ever read says to use a 7.450 pushrod if you're just swapping cams. This is copied from Thunder Racing's site:
LS6 Camshaft - 204/218 .551/.541 117.5 LSA Please note that this cam has approximately a 0.050" smaller base circle than a stock LS1 camshaft. This smaller base circle will require longer pushrods for applications with stock length valves and no milling for the head surface

With the stock 7.400" p-rods most engines are assumed to be fine, but it's better to check and see where the valves have been "swept" by looking at the wear pattern on your own car, as in the pic attached.
Then you can decide from there.
