same setup im wanting to do, but im goin with the MS4 instead. But from what ive read and heard you gain some good numbers and for a six speed its a great cam, some people like to daily drive some dont but i dont think we will be disappointed at all.

i think the ms4 might be too big power dont start till 3500. thats the reason why i want the ms3 because power starts about the launch rpm's???but i dont have too many other mods yet??? got some coming though!!! soo i would like to talk to some ms3 guys to see what they say???

I can't say personally, but my buddy has the ms4 in his m6 daily driver and he doesn't like it. he says the power is great but it's so high up in the rpms that it's a pain in the *** to daily drive.

Contact Joey, his name on here is Joey@TickPerf. He had a Camaro SS with MS3 and 6-speed. He can answer all the questions you have. I have the MS3 too but I drive a auto so don't know if I can help much.

One of my good buddies had an MS3 in his daily driver. Only complaints he had were about the power band being so god damn high, and a little bit of a buck at lower rpms. But the bucking is all about the tuner, a good tuner can make it drive fairly smooth.

To your question: MS3 can definately be daily driven, and my buddy made 410/ 373 with and ls6 manifold, stock heads, and pacesetter LT's

"launch rpms?" I side step the clutch off the limiter, my car does just fine with the MS4, roll race, dig, whatever.

^ Don't you have a built rear end?? hahaha

My buddy went to the track with street tires, oh man was that funny. Cause anytime he tried to get the car up to the powerband and then launch, he'd spin. If he tried to hook, he'd bog cause of weak torque numbers.

Got some slicks, went back (stock rearend). Launched to hook, bogged. Launched to go fast, and he moved about 2 inches.

Ya I have a 9", lol. If you do get the ms3 or ms4 you'll definitely want to get some 4.10-4.11's, that and a good tune will solve any bucking problems. I daily drove mine for a little over a year just fine.

I loved mine and DD it with 3.42s. Here is what I posted in another thread

My CETA had PRC 5.3s, MS3, FAST 90/90, 150 shot and the usual bolt ons and still had 3.42 gears. On a SOFT launch(3500) it went 7.03 @ 103 with a 1.91 60ft. That was short shifting at 6000 instead of 6700.

The MS3 loves nitrous

Sig with HP and Torque #'s. I daily drove mine before and after tune and I never had a problem with it but i like a raunchy cam. Though before tune definitely had some surging issues lol. Have 90/90 fast, MS3, PRC LS6 heads, Rebuilt tranny, and moser 9 inch with 3.89.

That cam rocks my buddy has one in his zo6 I will say it pulls hard to red line. I seen cars make around 440 hp not peak on ls1's. I would do a asp pulley a 85 mm lid and ported t body. Heads are serious mainly the 5.3 from texas speed port velocity is serious for real.

Yeah i always wanted a cam that loped pretty hard, who wants to be stealthy I got pacesetters with ORY and hooker exhaust and it definitely didn't sound like a stock cam lol. I've had people follow me home to see what was done to it and another guy follow me to walmart just to tell me it sounded good. PRC's are sold by Texas Speed. If i had i had the money i would have gone with AFR's or TFS's. This is a link to what i got http://www.texas-speed.com/shop/item...d=649&catid=40 Also vid on the dyno http://s183.photobucket.com/albums/x...t=P6210034.flv
