Any benefits from turning ls6 cam at 112lsa???
Just like it says on a custom grind would there be any benefits from having a ls6 cam but being turned at a 112 lsa????? What would it idle like? Hard to tune??? Driveability? Andsize of stall for it???

Even on a 112 LSA, there is so little duration there, you won't get any roughness in the idle, it shouldn't really even require a tune. You stand to gain some low end power at the expense of top end, but converter selection would probably end up about the same as a stock cam.
If that is what you want, there are better lobes to use than stock. If you want a custom cam, you're better off talking to PatG or PredatorZ about what you want.

Waste of time and $ ,lowering the LSA to 112 wouldn't make any extra HP, would make the TQ pretty snappy but wouldn't make any power past 5800 and be going against the RPM tuning of the LS6 manifold. That cam was designed with just a slight increase in duration over the LS1 cam and higher lift & LSA to work with the improved cylinder head/manifold flow of the LS6 to give the power increase over a wide RPM range while retaining a smooth idle quality. RPM increases due to the higher durations tendency to extend the powerband. Most of the medium to large duration cams would have powerbands that peak in the 7000-8000 range if used with the stock LSA,thats why the 111,112,113,114 are the most common.
