Default LS2 Block WHATS IT WORTH?

I have a LS2 shortblock out of a 05 gto that had 30k on it, The cam is not there all pistons, rods, and crank is in it. We had put a magna charger on it and about a year of that killed the rings, motor still ran did not have any knocks just low compression, heads and cam were reused in a 402 stroker we put back in the car. Is a excelent canidate for a 402 build or just to re-ring and put back to stock please let me know asap how much you guys think its worth we have to unload to get out of the way for our new shop. Thanks, ryan

wow i figured it would be more but i guess there are tons of these motors floating around Everything looks good obvioulsy it would need to be honed if it was just going to be rebuilt to stock spec.

well you have to figure a "new" block from gm is 1k. and you know what your getting. with a block that has had an issue the buyer never knows. i have had 2 blocks personally i thought were in great shape only to take them to the machine shop and find out they would have to be bored too far to remain in spec. or the linders werent as good as initialy thought. plus then you have to factor in machine work costs and the time to drag it around and get it done. im not trying to rain on ur parade because i myself have one im thinking about selling but its just a hard sale if something has gone wrong with the motor block related or not.

u really wont know, till it gets inspected,
u may think it just needs new rings, but who knows.
may need a hone as well, align hone, etc.
