Default How much rwhp after cam/tune?

I have unmodified 243 heads from a ls2, .600" lift pac springs, headers/ory/slp exhaust, lid.

how much rwhp should i expect w/ a cam and a good dyno tune at speed inc? i think i'm set on the futral motorsports fm14 232"/234" .598"/.598" 112LSA, unless someone can talk me into something different......

cam only that cam generally makes around 400rwhp...so add the 243s on there and you should be a solid 415-425rwhp

on a stock drivetrain...most use 13-15% drivetrain lose with the M6

i like my Torquer V1....i have a pretty touchy clutch/flywheel combo so its not as street friendly as it could be. but its got plenty of low end power, cruises along at <1500rpm in slow traffic, and drives great on the highway with ~24-25mgp highway @ 75-80mph with windows down.

not bad, but should of gone ls6 heads...

im running a comp 224 single pattern (224/.581/112 lsa) with patriot stage II heads, supporting mods and putting down 458/410 through M6 stock 10-bolt and stock gears...

i will never buy into the 5.3 bandwagon...

OP, i would think you will fall between 410-425 range, on par with what others have said. post up the results...

I am also still running my aluminum intake. From what my tuner told me if I went with a FAST 90/90 setup I could get 460rwhp.

Dont forget the rwhp also depends on the dyno and other small variables..

I am very happy with my results on the dyno, I love the streetability of this combo.

you will be between 11.1-11.3 compression.

2 questions.

1. arent you running very close to the max lift for those springs with that set up?

2. ive done a little searching about what motors had what heads. during my search i found that the LS2 and LS6 used different heads. but like you mentioned, and ive seen pics of a LS2 GTO, they have the 243 casting. My LS6 has the 243 casting as well. whats the deal???

How streetable is the torquer v.2? What kind of power can you expect vs. a 229/230/.570/.570 LSA 113? What kind of lope difference. I am not trying to hijack, but want the best cam only power I can buy but it is street driven?

SearayC5, I daily drive a F13 from Futral and its very smooth. This is with a 3600 stall. You need to look at hp/tq curves for mutliple cams. Futrals are proven and highly recommended around here.

Transam0486, I would stick to the F14. You should be around 410ish-420ish. You should probably get some higher lift, double springs. I just got a Patriot Gold Dual kit for $255 shipped.
