Default Compression/Leak Down Test

The compression test doesn't matter, just as long as all numbers are w/in 10% right?

The leakdown should be a specific number right?

Just curious what kind of numbers i should be looking for when I do these tests on my LS1.

Thanks,
Ed

Default

5%-10% or less typically for leak down is an engine in very good condition. engines with more miles in fairly good condition can have up to 20%. Anything past 30% will be an issue.

The great thing about leak down is you get to see where its going. (Past rings, intake valve, exhaust valve)
