Anyone have this combo with a "stock" 346?

i haven't seen that combo, but i think any intake/tb combo other than a portmatched vic jr/accufab 105mm would be a waste. oh and be prepared to shift at 7300 haha.

I think TTP had the AFR 225's on their green camaro on a internally stock 346 but with one of their cams.

You'd be better off (IMO) having a set of 205's reworked vs going with the 225's to compromise. The 225's will probably feel a little soft on the bottom end but will work great at high rpms. Study up on port velocity. Port velocity is why my 402 with afr 205's made so much power under the curve and still did ok up top. The 225's would've dropped my bottom end numbers a bit, but would improved my peak numbers. With that being said, my car is 99.9% street, not strip so I opted to stay with the 205's. How's 420+ rwtq at 2500 rpms sound ?
