ALL 01-02 LS1 cars had an LS6 intake

Difference between the two(LS1 motor/LS6 motor) are block, heads, cam and a few other little things

That's the casting number for the LS6, What you have is an ls6 block w/ ls1 internals, cam, and heads. The ls6 blocks are all a dark grey and MOST ls1's are a light gray. The diff casting pros. causes a color differance. Some later ls1's were cast in the same plant as the ls6 so they are dark colored also.

I bought an 02 take-out that has the LS6 block.
