goals?

search should give you a lot of threads to read
too many options and opinions in the lsx world ... it all starts with you being honest about what you want your car to do and what it'll be used for

first off do not sell the 243's. they work very well on the ls1 engines. as far as a cam i love mine. excellent cam for a low all the way to 7000 rpm range. if i had a better bottom end i could go even higher rpm with this cam. as it was a steady climb makeing hp all the way to 6900 rpm.

I am running 243 heads on my stock ls1 bottom end. I had my heads bolw blended and back cut valves which woke them up tremendously. I am running a tr raptor cam with a ls6 intake. My cam is rather larger but i still use it for everyday driving, and street racing. My mpg isn't bad either, and with that cam i make power to 6800rpm.
The only problem i ran into with my set up is my motor need more air and more fuel so i have to upgrade to get the most out of it but as it sits now it pulls like a ***** and extremely fun to drive. If you need any more info on anything just pm me
