Looking for 382(3) & 402-408(9) Dyno#'s
First off, it seems lately, this board has been running real slow and using the search feature is a chore, it tells me something about word length...
I'm looking for you guys that have the engine above and was wondering what dyno #'s you have and also what cam you are using to get them.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but does a 383 normally have about 450 HP & 450 TQ at the wheels? Does a 402 have around 480 HP & 480 TQ?
I'm the type of guy that does a ton of research way before I dive into a big project, so if you could, and if you have the time, please help me out.
Thanks in advance.......
Bill

478/455 on a JPR all-bore 388, JPR S2 heads, 242/242 cam (idles almost like stock with cutout closed, believe it or not), 12 bolt w/ 4.11 gears, under 11.0 CR (93 gas), heavy driveshaft and flywheel, and not sure how much my clutch problems were affecting the numbers. Graphs on website in sig.
