cam issues and questions
im have a 2000 ss camaro and i have a question that has me stumped i am running 1:8.1 harland sharp rockers i wnat to know how big of a cam can i stick in a stock engine with these rockersthe only thing done to the car is filter and exhaust

well obviously the lift is one of the main things to look at, bc the 1.8 increase lift. i would think you would want to stay at or around .600 lift and checking PTV clearance would prolly be a smart thing. very simply though i dont see why a tr224 .564/.564 wouldn't be fine for your app.

Cam vendors suggest against using the 1.8 rockers for most aftermarket LS1 cams:

I think the 1.8's are recommended for less agressive lobes like the stock cam. I would pick the cam you want and put the stock rockers back in.
