Heads-Cam Installed; Early Impressions
In went a Comp 224/581/112 into RGR Stage 2's ($1899.00-what a deal) along with an LS6 Intake, ASP Crank Pulley, Pushrods, and a 160 Stat.
She started up fairly easily, but I had to idle it up for 45 seconds before the idle settled and held. Otherwise it stumbles quite a bit.
Let me just start off by saying that the idle/lope sounds GREAT! It sounds like a Pro Stock prestaging at an NHRA event! I was so surprised it sounded so nasty! It sounded so good, that I started up the car and ran it in neutral while I washed it! It was music baby!
On to the initial drive. I babied it the first day, not exceeding 4k and put it through a couple cycles and I put her to bed that night. The next day I decided to go WOT a few times. Holy SHHEEEE-IT! When the tach hit 5k, it was like a turbo kicked in. Also, NO traction when this happens, all I could hear was squealing tires! Time for some DRs.
Other observations; the car is mega LOUD, and so is the rasp. Oh well, no biggie, but so much for WOT runs around any cops. My AC worked fine too.
All in all, if you don't have a H/C car, and are thinking about it, DO it! This combo transforms the car into a whole 'nother monster! I now wish I had done this much sooner!
Up next will be tuning, and then I'll get some numbers up here. YEEEEHAWW!

Very glad you are happy with the car. It was a good choice of parts and should perform very well at the track with a tire and a rear.
Just let me know when you need any advice or other work done. You got my number
