Future 3 valve heads that bolt to LS1 block
I just assumed that most people had already heard about this but I guess not everyone lurks on the C6 forum of corvetteforums.com
The C6, possibly the base but more likely the ZO6 version, will get a 3 valve head. The article is on page 5 and 6.

These heads will supposedly bolt on to an LS1 block, and are only 1" wider than regular LS1 head castings. They said they can also handle 8000rpms.
I'd assume they will be available after the car that wears them goes into production. That plus the possibility of a variable cam timing system seems like a very interesting combo to make huge hp and trq gains while still being able to retain steet driveability.
