Default Rod/Piston combo!

Well i'm looking for some new internals.
Wanna go forged of coarse. I plan on spray a big shot(250).
I was looking at eagle h-beams and some diamond piston. Not sure on what rings to go with yet.

What do you guys think about the combo?
Im definetly doing this on a budget. It's gonna take me a couple months to save up for them.

I run Eagle rods & crank and Ross pistons with a 350 shot, and not had any problems at all, I use HellFire rings.

Are you running a prgressive controller or is all that coming on at once?

You guys think the stock crank will take a 250 shot on a progressive? I definetly don't have the funds for a forged crank, and i've heard the stock 6.0 cranks were pretty tough.

I run Compstar rods and diamond forged pistons with a 200 shot. Pistons and Rods costed me 1000 dollars. With the ARP Bolts torqued to 75lbs. She could hold a 300 Shot

Looking into the Wiseco's.
They're pretty reasonable on the price. TSP has them for 581.99
Might end up getting Their -3.2cc piston

Question-
Does the Edge programmer have a proggresive control on spray? Cause I like the way your system goes from a off the line shot to a second gear throw down!

my bud's budget nitrous motor uses an LQ4 rotating assembly. he just tore it down and replaced the rings with a Total Seal steel top/napier 2nd ring set and Clevit bearings. he got the rods shotpeened and magnafluxed. he also has studded mains/heads as well as ARP Pro Series rod bolts. he makes 740+ hp with a heavily milled set of 317s with larger valves and a huge cam. if you still have your piston/rod combo then just save teh money and get the stock long block overhauled. I have a set of pistons and rods in good condition if you're interested?

I would use my stock rods and pistons...but the engine needs to be bored.
A few of the cylinder walls are in rough shape.
