Check out www.Lingenfelter.com They have a control module that converts the signal so you dont have to change the wheel. Its only a couple of hundred bucks so I would just go that route. Otherwise you would have to pull your Trans and Torque Converter which isnt fun (Trust Me) and it would just be a whole lot easier to buy the module.

wow i see the transformer unit but i plan to replace the crank and cam position sensor with LS1 24X units. now i have the crank out of the 6.0 and am curious if it is possible to swap reluctor wheels. i can get my hands on a 24X reluctor fairly easy.

If you already have the crank out then yeah I would just go ahead and swap reluctor wheels. That would save you a couple hundred bucks anyway. Where is the Cam Sensor located on the LQ9, Front or Back?

Im pretty sure the LQ9 has a 24x.

Is there a way to tell a 54x from a 24x?
