5.3 truck Heads or Aftermarket OK so here's the deal. I just found out yesterday that my ls1 has casting # 862 5.3 truck heads. so my question is to reach my goal of 400-440 rwhp, should i just send them to a head shop for porting and what not(i know they create higher compression) or should i go with a pair of aftermarkets. as far as the cam goes im still up in the air but if have some advice on that it would be very helpful too. THANKS!
