i bought a set of Yella Terra Ultra Lite rockers and was curious if they clear stock valve covers? do i need to cut out the baffle for clearance?

Depends on how much you need to shim them when you check the wipe pattern, which is the first thing you need to do. No shims will clear, shimmed likely not and you will need to remove the baffles.

I never had a problem shimmed or not on my TA?? Fit just fine?

I installed mine with the supplied .046 shims to get wipe pattern centered and don't have clearance problems with valve covers. Now I'm wondering if I should re check that..Oh and to the Op you have the honor of me making my first post on here in your thread after lurking for years..

my baffles are gone and no shims on the rockers.
i didnt want to worry with them hitting, so i cleaned up the valve covers while i had some spare time before building the motor.
