Question TR220 and 1.85 rockers

I'm about to swap to a TR220/555/556/114 and was wondering what changing rockers would do. Any experience with small cams and different rocker sizes? I'm trying to keep it dependable. TIA.

It is thought that 1.85 rockers should not be used with cams over .550 lift. I guess with that one you would be borderline. U could use 1.75 instead of 1.70.

I've got about a month before I put this thing in, you by any chance know the conversion? Is it just a multiplier?

lets see, the TR220 cam is 553 lift, divided by the stock ratio of 1.7, multiplied by your new ratio (1.8), gives you a lift of ~.585 (someone correct me if im wrong)

Thunder Racing doesnt recomend the use of 1.8 rockers with their cams due to the fast ramp rate of the cam
