Default Patriot stage 2 heads damage

Hey guys I have a 2000 camaro ss that I got blown up. Guy ate a valve and I just want to see if you think the heads are repairable. They really aren’t bad, but just unsure where to go from here.

thanks in advance!

They can Be repaired, but you will need to find a good shop that can clean them up.

Lots of places will just till you to get another set of heads.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah that’s what I found when searching. But new heads are only sold in pairs and that’s gonna be like $1700. Two new valves and some repair seems way better to me.

They do show repair's as an option on their website. You may want to contact them directly. Since they built them, they would likely be the best option to repair them.

Promaxx isn't patriot.

No they are not, but they purchased the business and the equipment.

From there about us page:
We are a family owned business that began in 2012 by purchasing the remnants of Patriot Performance and Alabama Cylinder Head Exchange.

My PRC 215s dropped a valve and shoved the big end of the valve into the port. I assumed they were scrap but I took them to a fairly local machine shop and they welded the chamber and I honestly couldn’t by eye tell they had been damaged. They done a valve job on both heads cleaned and milled them and it was just over 600.

thanks for the info! Promaxx isn’t being very helpful, so that may be my best bet is to try a machine shop. I did notice after removing valves and springs, there is some Minor cracking as well. May be an expensive paper weight. Be nice if I could just by one.
I don’t know what hard it began life as since they shaved it off, so promaxx can’t tell me what head I need. I thought that all stage two heads would be same for the ls1 cathedral port.

Hopefully you can find a good local shop to repair them. It appears based on the combustion chamber that those are 243/799 castings that they use.
