A cam would go a long way for your motor. That "small" cam is making great power. So that says the heads are doing their job. Put a cam in it and you'll be there. But with the bigger cam you will need some valve reliefs cut.

Why don't you talk to JPR about a Cam recommendation? He'll know what works best with his Heads.

Seriously I would just consider adding some nitrous or start saving up for a stroker. Say you pick up 30rwhp and 10 ft-lbs of torque. Driving around town at low rpm the car will *probably* feel slower. You aren't going to feel a 10ft-lb difference at the level you are at, and if the extra hp comes at a higher rpm you really wont feel that either - the car will just stay in gear longer.

If you are getting bored at the numbers you are making then adding 30hp isn't going to make that big a difference (in my opinion)

If you want torque then get a stroker kit.

Sorry man, i much prefer the "bore" to the "stroke" if C.U is equal in a LS1.
The unshouded valves among other reason have put down some stellar comparitive numbers.

BAM BAM BAM Couldn't agree more with Raughammer, yes a stroker might gain you a bit more torque but is it worth the price? MTI 427 12 G's?!?!? Or JPR 383 All bore for about 5 .. THINK ABOUT IT !
