Default different 224ish cam..

the cam i'm about to put in my 00 TA m6 is a comp cams 224/230, .609/.592. on 112+3.
grind # 3015R / 3725R
PN: 54-000-11

I havent been able to find a whole lot of info on this cam, and trust me ive tried searching. anyone have anything similar?(224/230ish cam with .600ish lift)?

I picked this cam based on the fact that i DD my car so i didnt want anything too radical, but i didnt want anything tiny either. my setup is:

2000 m6 TA
ported 243's(flow 280ish at .600), prc dual springs
comp 224/230 .609/.592 112+3
pacesetter LT's, ORY, e-cutout.
ported ls6 oil pump
racetronix fuelpump
stock 3.42 10bolt rear (for now)
ASP underdrive pulley
LS7 lifters

any guesses on hp/tq? will be tuned, running on tr55 plugs and will be seeing 100shot sometime this summer

Do a search for Ryan L. He has that cam but both the intake and exhaust are on XFI lobes. He put down 430/400 with the stock heads and intake on an 04 ZO6.

damn, those numbers are higher than i would have guessed! i would rather be shifting closer to 6500ish rpm's, should i advance the cam when i install it? i dont know a whole lot about advancing etc...ill have to do some searching around at work tomorrow on it..unless someone wants to explain it

I would install it on a 109 ICL as I think that will give you the best valve timing events for good low end and decent top end with over rev. Should peak around 6200rpm and be within a few hp to 6500. If you have an LS1 intake i'd say you make around 400 rwhp and around 420-430 with an LS6 intake.

That looks like one of me cam grinds (or clone) it is a XFI intake lobe and XE-R exhaust lobe.

3>IVO
41>IVC
50>EVO
0>EVC
115>ECL
3* overlap

These are thev valve events (VE) at .050

With a LS6 intake it will peak around 6100>6200 and carry another 400rpm past that easy.
Power range 1800>6500
