/\ There you go, whats best for your budget.

As far as 'best' probably something done by hand by a reputable porter, ie get a set of AFR's/TFS and send them to Mamo/White for touch-up.

Do you have 3000+ to spend on heads?

Well you could get the TFS for that, I think...not to sure.

You could just get a good set of LS6 243's, keep the stock valves, and BEG Bo White to port them for ya. Ive never seen anyone complain about his work. So figure 500 for the heads and 750-800 for the port work= 1250-1300 for a good set of heads. Thats what I plan on doing later anyway.

And you are absolutely 100% incorrect, you need to speak from experience not what you read on a forum. You obviously have put very little time into researching.

You gain everywhere with the 92/92 setup, its the king of intakes and is unrivaled. Its not a fluke, everyone and their brother puts their car on a the dyno these days. If it didn't perform amazingly, no one would buy it.

Your asking about head flow in your other thread and want more info, research Tony Mamo. He does the cylinder head development for AFR heads, which are basically the king of cylinder heads. He knows airflow better than anyone, he has been a fan of the FAST intake for years over every other intake and explains why.

If The FAST was $600, 90% of the people on this forum would have it on their street vehicle, without a doubt.

There is your answer. You absolutely can not compare dyno number that weren't done on the same dyno, ever! You really shouldnt even compare results that weren't done on the same day even.

"Porting" the intake can also hurt it, so can a bad tune. So there is zero reason to believe the loosing power statement you made. Things have to be done a certain way to believable. For every test there has to be a control/baseline test to compare to, within the time frame.
