Default help identify my cam?

I pulled my cam out of my 99 firebird. I thought I bought the car with a g5x3

But LG says its not there cam.

The numbers are 28 (something unreadable) and 1 F

I want to replace the cam with the same one. I had a lifter go bad and destroy the cam lobe.

Intake lobe 3727R XE-R Comp Cam
Exhaust lobe 3731R XE-R Comp Cam

Or

My problem is I need the same cam. This car is just a driver for me on nice days and not my project car. I just want to whip the same cam back in and not have to take it back for a tune and all that.

Meanwhile my twin turbo project is in slow mo until I get this thing up and running

Then send your cam for a cam doctor and based on that report and a bit of searching you can find out the specs and get it ground the same, Do you at least know if it is on Comp Cam lobes?

The picture is to blurry to see the numbers. I think the one digit thats hard to make out may be a 7.

Tried calling Comp Cams and can't get through.

Thunder racing has no idea either.

Post a pic so we can see.
Best way is to "cam doctor" the cam. Do you understand what cam doctoring is?

It took me three seconds to type "cam doctor", it will for you too....I know what it is, but just wanted to see how easy it was to find.

Something about "giving a fish" vs. "teaching to fish" comes to mind....
